Craft Groups

I'm currently working on setting up some craft groups.  These will be groups of people who meet on a regular basis for Kaszazz Workshops.  They can be card making, scrapbooking, beyond the page, or a mixture of workshops. They can be an existing group of friends or people who are interested but may not have a whole group of friends with the same interests. Group sizes may vary, but I'm looking at between 4 & 8 people in each group.

The way it would work is that as a group you would decide when and how often to meet - maybe fortnightly or every 3 or 4 weeks or whatever suits the group.  It can be at my house in Morwell, or we can rotate around homes - particularly if you live in other areas this will allow me to come to you!

Each time they get together someone will be drawn to be the "host" for the next workshop, so they will choose which workshop we do and they will also get any host benefits that may be available (as if they were hosting it in their home for their friends!)

Master Class - Saturday 8th September 2012

I've decided to put this Master Class out for a vote on which one to run.

These are Master Clasess which are classified as "beyond beginners" but I have taken absolute beginners through them before and they still came out alive!

Country Windmill Scrapbook Layout - Friday 17th August

Toolbox & Card - Wednesday 22nd August

Come and make something for a man in your life! During a 2 Hour Workshop, you will complete a tool box and matching card for Father’s Day that were created by Heidi C Smith. If you don't want it for Fathers Day, we can change the stamp and make it a birthday or whatever!

It includes a pencil as the ‘handle’ which can be easily used by dad for his work! ** Fill the tool Box with lollies or other gifts!

Dream Love 12x12 Stand

So many of you have commented on my frame that I thought it was about time I ran this Master Class that was created by Sonia Gibson.

During this 4 Hour Master Class Workshop you will create a beautiful flower filled layout displayed on a Chipboard stand.

You will learn these “Beyond Beginners” techniques:
- Physical paper distressing
- Distressing using dye and pigment inks
- Altering chipboard using a variety of products and techniques including Smooch Spritz, Crackle Accents and various inks
- Embossing
- Creating backgrounds using stamps
- Colouring using inks
- Colouring Crocheted flowers using Smooch Spritz
- Altering Ezy-Press die cuts using ink and Crackle Accents

You will need the following photographs:
- One 7" x 5" portrait printed with a white border.
 

There is a minimum of 4 for this Master Class to run.

Cute Curly Butterfly Cards - Wednesday 8th August

Due to popular demand I'm running this workshop again, so if you missed it last time here's your chance!

During this 2 hour workshop created by Julie Storti you will create a delightful set of butterfly swirl cards with matching inserts. You will learn heat embossing and resist techniques along with stamping with the Distress Stains.

Funky Forest Distress Album Frame - Wednesday 25th July

During this 2 Hour Workshop, you will complete a simple Album Frame using distress ink, stamping and cutting.

This was created by Kerryn Moore and is a great frame for the boys or the whole family. It will suit beginners through to those with lots of experience.

It's a beautiful frame to display, and you can add pages for extra photos, journalling or to be scrapbooked later. It would also make a great personalised gift!

Cost $30 per person and includes all tools and materials. This workshop in being run on Wednesday 25th July, 2012 at 7:30pm.

Kaszazz Craft Time - Friday 20th July and Friday 3rd August

Kaszazz Craft Time is a time to gather together to share ideas and inspiration and to work on whatever project you have going - be it scrapbooking, card making or beyond the page.

You will be welcome to use my range of tools, stamps, inks, etc. to create whatever your heart desires! Some supplies are available to purchase on the night, and you can check out the catalogue to get great ideas for your next card, page or project!

You are welcome to bring your own tools, papers, embellishments, etc. if you want to. (Please ensure they are clearly marked so you know which ones are yours).

Start time is 7:30pm and cost is $10.

If you don't know what Kaszazz is all about this is also a time you can call in, have a cuppa and just see what we do.

Distress Christmas Cards - 2H Workshop

During this 2 Hour workshop created by Julie Nash and Pam Kuhn you will create 3 fantastic Christmas Cards using the Distress Inks and some of the fantastic Kaszazz Stamps.

This is a great workshop for absolute beginners, but those who are experienced will still enjoy it as well.

I am running this workshop on Monday 10th September at 10am and 7:30pm

Cost is $20 per person and includes all tools & materials.
There is some trimming involved so if you have a favourite paper trimmer you are welcome to bring it along, or you can use mine.

You will learn these “Beyond Beginners” techniques:
  - Stamping on Plastic Sheet
  - Creating 3D Embellishments

Some card making or scrapbooking experience is preferred for this Master Class.

NOTE: I will be splitting this into 2 sessions, one on Friday 6th July and the other on Friday 13th July. You will need to be able to attend either the day or evening session each week. There will also be some fussy cutting to be done at home in between.  Sessions start at either 10am or 7:30pm

Cost is $50 for the whole class (both sessions) and includes all tools & materials.

Please let me know if you are coming by Tuesday 3rd July.
